Thomas Gira

Thomas Gira has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Thomas currently works at Pattern Labs as a Robotics Engineer starting in 2022. Thomas previously worked at the Laboratory For Atmospheric and Space Physics as a Laboratory Assistant from September 2020 to December 2021. Thomas also had an internship at John Deere as a Product Engineering Intern from May 2021 to July 2021, where they managed a project to redesign an attachment kit for zero turn mowers and collaborated with stakeholders from different departments. Before that, Thomas worked as a Manufacturing Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from August 2019 to September 2020. Thomas had another internship at John Deere as a Component Development Intern from June 2020 to August 2020, where they designed components to reduce windage in a utility vehicle transmission and analyzed vehicle and transmission warranty claims. Thomas also gained experience as an Operations Intern at John Deere from May 2019 to August 2019. In addition to their professional experience, they worked as a Student Employee at Kittredge Market, Rams Horn, and the University of Colorado Boulder, and as a Soccer Referee at the University of Colorado Boulder and FORT COLLINS SOCCER CLUB.

Thomas Gira attended the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering & Applied Science from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. In April 2018, they also earned a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) from SolidWorks CAD 3D.
