Andrew Madsen

Andrew Madsen is a seasoned expert in MLOps and data engineering with extensive experience in leading teams and implementing innovative data solutions. Currently serving as a Staff MLOps Engineer at Pattern® since December 2025, Andrew previously held the role of Principal MLOps Architect at ARUP Laboratories and spent several years at Pluralsight, where responsibilities included directing ML and data platforms, overseeing migrations to Kubernetes and Terraform, and enhancing real-time data capabilities. Earlier roles included Data Engineer at Jacobs and Statistical Analyst at URS Corporation, with a foundational background in environmental science research from the University of Utah, where Andrew earned both an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a B.S. in Chemistry.
