Danny Capener

Danny Capener has over 30 years of work experience in various financial and technical roles. Danny is currently the Financial Systems Manager at Pattern® since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Venafi as the Director of Financial Systems from April 2021 to November 2022, and as the Senior Manager of Financial Systems from July 2019 to November 2022.

Before their time at Venafi, Danny worked as a Technical Solutions Architect at Blue Banyan Solutions, Inc. from April 2019 to July 2019. Danny also served as a NetSuite Implementation Architect/Senior Manager at Eide Bailly Technology from January 2014 to April 2019.

Earlier in their career, Danny held roles such as Accounting Systems Controller at Xerox Services, Inc. from May 2009 to January 2014, and CFO/CIO at Tai-Pan Trading International, Inc. from April 2006 to April 2009.

Danny also owned and operated Pace Technology Support & Services, LLC from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Danny worked as an Asst Corporate Controller at Affiliated Computer Services from December 2000 to January 2002, and as a Senior Consultant at SGS Technology from April 1997 to December 2000.

Danny started their career as an Auditor at United Savings Bank from 1992 to 1995. Throughout their career, Danny has gained extensive experience in financial systems management, technical solutions architecture, and NetSuite implementation.

Danny Capener has a BA in Accounting with a minor in Japanese from Weber State University. Danny also attended Yokota High School in Yokota AFB, Japan. Danny has several certifications, including being a NetSuite Certified Administrator and a NetSuite Certified SuiteAnalytics User, both obtained in March 2018. Danny is also a Certified Public Accountant, obtained in October 1999, and a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained in November 1996.
