Hershey Deatrix Castro

Hershey Deatrix Castro has extensive experience in graphic design and creative roles. Hershey Deatrix is currently working as a Senior Graphic Designer at Pattern® since August 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Designer from April 2023 to August 2023.

From 2017 to 2023, Hershey was a Senior Art Director at Itch Creatives. In this role, they worked with various brands such as Chevrolet, Maya, Shell, Grab, FWD, BDO, Motorola, Elmer's, Magiclean, and more. Hershey Deatrix also served as a Creative Lead and Head of the Art Department during their tenure, managing a team of graphic designers and art directors.

Before joining Itch Creatives, Hershey worked as a Graphic & Digital Marketing Specialist at The Tropical Retail Company, Inc. and Global Cupcake Ventures Inc. from 2014 to 2017. Hershey Deatrix handled print and online creative materials for brands like Havaianas, Cupcakes by Sonja, and Common Thread. Hershey Deatrix was also responsible for managing Cupcakes by Sonja's social media platforms and content development.

Hershey's earlier experience includes working as a Graphic Designer and Brand Assistant at Rimini Italia Corporation from 2013 to 2014. Hershey Deatrix created print and online materials for brands like Terranova, Guess, Mango, Liu Jo, Antony Morato, and 7 for All Mankind.

Hershey Deatrix started their career as a Graphic Artist at The Lyceum Independent Sentinel (Official School Publication) from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they had a student internship as part of the Creative Solutions team at Summit Media (Summit Publishing Co., Inc.) in 2012. Hershey also volunteered as a Production Assistant at the Philippine Graphic Design Awards 2011 (Subterfuse Events) in November 2011.

Hershey Deatrix Castro attended Lyceum of the Philippines University from 2009 to 2013 where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Multimedia Arts.
