Robert Bailey

Robert Bailey has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Robert is currently working at Pattern® as a Principal Software Engineer and has been employed there since June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Lead Software Engineer, Integrations at the same company starting from November 2021.

Before joining Pattern®, Robert worked at Lingotek where they held the position of Director of Software Engineering from March 2017 to December 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Developer at the same company between May 2013 and March 2017.

Robert also has experience at Goldman Sachs where they worked as a Senior Analyst Developer in the GSS Mission Control division from September 2012 to May 2013. At Goldman Sachs, they investigated and fixed system failures in financial derivative product flow and authorized code releases.

Earlier in their career, Robert held the position of VP, Technology at BizVision from September 2010 to September 2012. Robert also worked at Verio as a Manager, Senior Developer, and Developer from May 2001 to October 2010.

Robert started their career as an Auditor at Ernst & Young from January 2001 to April 2001. Robert also worked at Lagoon Corporation as an Assistant Manager in the Games Department from 1997 to 1999. In this role, they were responsible for hiring, training, and managing employees and supervisors, and teaching skills related to sales and game operation.

Robert Bailey earned a high school diploma, with a focus on calculus and snowboarding, from Davis High School in 1992. Robert went on to attend Brigham Young University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Accountancy from Brigham Young University, which they completed in 2000. Robert then continued their education at Utah State University from 2003 to 2006, obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Science.
