Shaunak Sontakke

Shaunak Sontakke has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Shaunak is currently the Director of Engineering at Pattern® since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Pattern® as the Associate Director of Development from July 2021 to May 2023.

Before joining Pattern®, Shaunak worked at Entrata as a Software Engineer IV from January 2017 to June 2021. Shaunak's career started at Netlynx Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in 2008, where they worked as the Manager of Client Operations. In this role, they managed development, support, and operations teams and provided technical support for a large portfolio of clients.

Prior to Netlynx Technologies, Shaunak worked at Muller & Phipps India Ltd. from 2006 to 2008. Shaunak held roles such as Manager of MIS & IT, Assistant Manager EDP/IT, and EDP Executive. In these roles, they ensured smooth functioning of key systems, managed IT infrastructure, and implemented disaster recovery systems.

Shaunak Sontakke pursued their education in a chronological manner. Shaunak began their academic journey in 1988 at The South Indian Associations' High School, where they completed their X Std. or High School/Secondary Diploma Programs in 1998. Shaunak then attended The South Indian Associations' Junior College from 1998 to 2000, obtaining their High School degree or XII Std. Following this, Shaunak attended Lokmanya Tilak College Of Engineering, Mumbai University from 2000 to 2006, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in BPR, SCM, ERP.

In 2011, Shaunak pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University, which they completed in 2013.

Additionally, Shaunak has obtained various certifications to enhance their skillset. Shaunak received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2021. Shaunak also obtained multiple certifications focused on AWS, including Microservices Foundations, and completed several courses related to AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C02) on LinkedIn.
