Matt Hall

Matt Hall is currently a software engineer at Pave. Prior to this, they worked at Potato for 8 years and 11 months, where they held various positions such as lead software engineer, senior front end software engineer, and front end software engineer. Matt was also responsible for mentoring, career path setting, and coaching and leadership for the Bristol Studio Engineering team. In addition, they worked on the front end of many projects for Potato using tools such as Angular and Google Closure Library to architect scalable and performant product UIs for clients such as Google, in collaboration with design and back end developers. After their time at Potato, they spent 6 months as interim Technical Director and member of the Bristol Studio Leadership team reporting to the CEO, Group Financial Director, and Group Commercial Director, with overall accountability for the whole studio engineering team. Matt then took on a TVC - Contract position at Google, where they worked for 8 years and 11 months.

Matt Hall attended South Trafford College from 2003-2005, where they studied BTEC National ICT Practitioners Software Development. Matt specialized in Web Development, Computer Systems, and Software Development. In June 2005, they received the South Trafford College student of the year award in IT and Computing. Prior to that, they attended Urmston Grammar School from 1998-2003.
