Brian Coon has extensive work experience in the field of substance abuse services. Brian started their career as a Graduate Intern at White Oaks Center for Chemical Dependency in 1988. Brian then joined the Human Service Center of Peoria in 1989, where they worked as a Clinician and later became the Team Leader. In 2005, they were promoted to Manager of HSC Substance Abuse Services. In 2008, Brian Coon transitioned to Pavillon, where they held various roles, including Counselor II, Manager of Residential Chemical Dependency Services, Lead Counselor and Supervisor in the Men's Program, Clinical Director, and Director of Innovation, Training, and Research. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Clinical Officer at Pavillon.
Brian Coon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Bradley University in 1987. Brian then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Community-Clinical Psychology at the same institution, which they completed in 1991.
