Benjamin Abrams

Benjamin Abrams has extensive work experience in IT services and security. Benjamin is currently the Director of IT Services and Security at Pavion, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Senior IT Manager at AFA Protective Systems, Inc. from January 2011 to January 2023. In this role, they were responsible for managing and implementing IT solutions, maintaining best practices, ensuring smooth operations, and securing border protection. Benjamin also oversaw the integration, provisioning, operation, and maintenance of enterprise servers, applications, and databases, and developed roadmaps for IT infrastructure upgrades, security, uptime, and redundancy across multiple branches.

Benjamin Abrams attended UCLA from 2005 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at Queens College from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. In addition to their formal education, Benjamin has obtained certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification from Microsoft. Benjamin has also completed the Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019 training.
