PAWATANK is a solar-powered public phone charging infrastructure designed for Africa.
We build smart, secure, off-grid charging stations that provide accessible energy to people in public spaces like campuses, markets, and transit terminals where power is often unreliable or unavailable.

Each PAWATANK station is fully DC-powered, houses up to 100 NFC-enabled secure charging ports, and is equipped with IoT-based control systems for remote monitoring and smart billing. Users simply scan, plug, and walk away, confident their devices are safe and charging.

At the core of PAWATANK is a mission to democratize energy access and support digitally connected communities by solving one of the continent’s most common pain points: keeping phones powered, anytime, anywhere.
