Mark Gray

Head Of Strategic Partnerships at Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre

Mark Gray has held various roles in different companies throughout their work experience. Mark started their career as a Research Associate at Curtin University in 2010 and then moved on to work as a Senior Software Engineer at iVEC from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined The University of Western Australia as a Data Technical Specialist until 2017. From 2011 to 2018, they were a Partner at The Codehive Pty Ltd. In 2017, they began working at Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre as a Cloud Lead until 2019, when they became the Head of Scientific Platforms. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Strategic Partnerships at the same organization. Alongside their time at Pawsey, Mark also worked at CSIRO as an IT Manager from 2017 to 2019 and is currently an Executive Manager there.

Mark Gray earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from Curtin University in 1993. Mark then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003.
