Jing Luo

Software Engineer at Paxos

Jing Luo has a diverse work experience in various technology-focused roles. In 2015, they worked as a Research Fellow at Nevis Laboratories at Columbia University, where they analyzed VERITAS 2015 dataset for galactic nucleus sources and constructed and tested camera reactors for a gamma-ray atmospheric Cherenkov telescope.

The following year, in 2016, Jing Luo became a Research Fellow at The Herman Group at Columbia University, conducting research during their time there.

In 2017, they briefly worked as a Summer Technology Analyst at CICC, gaining exposure to the technology field.

From 2018 to 2022, Jing Luo worked at Goldman Sachs as a Software Engineer. They held this role for two different periods, from July 2018 to July 2020 and from July 2020 to June 2022, demonstrating their longevity in the position.

Currently, Jing Luo is working at Paxos as a Software Engineer, starting in June 2022.

Jing Luo completed their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from Columbia Engineering between 2017 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Barnard College from 2014 to 2017. Jing'sinitial college experience was at Davidson College from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities.
