Eli Hazan has a long history of working in the technology and security fields. Eli began their career in 2002 as Support Manager at the Hebrew University, where they were responsible for technical support and customer service for 15,000 customers. In 2005, they became Director of the Computer Center at Social Science at the same university, where they planned critical business processes and designed the schema for the central database in a new IDM system. In 2010, they moved to Moore Stephens International as Head of IT Audit and Information Security department, managing IT audit and information security assessment services. Eli then joined Migdal Group in 2015 as Projects & Applications Security Manager, where they defined a Cyber Strategy for a true Digital transition and wrote application Security Instructions and guidelines. In 2017, they were appointed Director of Cyber Consulting & Audit Services at Moore Stephens - Israel. In 2018, they joined Amitim Senior Pension Funds as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Cyber Security Officer, where they established Siem/Soc operation, asserted, implemented and monitored cyber & privacy regulations, defined cyber risk framework and oversight of cyber security assessments, and defined digital transformation security architecture and cloud base operation. Finally, in 2021, they became Chief Information Security Officer at PayBox.

Eli Hazan has obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Systems Management from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2006 and 2009. Eli also obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in International Relations and International Political Economy from The Hebrew University between 1999 and 2005. Eli's Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Affairs was obtained from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 1996 and 1999. Additionally, Eli Hazan has obtained three certifications: Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer from ISACA in March 2021, CISSP from ISC(2) in March 2013, and CISA from ISACA in March 2010.
