Michael Lyons

Michael Lyons is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and analytics. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science & Predictive Analytics at Paychex since February 2020, Michael previously held the role of Manager of Data Science at the same company. Prior experience includes Project Manager at Wellington Steele & Associates, Inc. and Director of Analytics for the Buffalo Bills, where data-driven solutions were employed to support business and football operations. Michael's career began at Xerox Corporation, where a range of roles spanned over 26 years, including Project Manager for multi-million dollar projects and Data Architect for the Siebel Platform. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA in Computer Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School.
