Mike Gomez

Mike Gomez has extensive experience in risk management and loss prevention, currently serving as a U.S. Coast Guard Aux member since February 2025. Gomez has held key positions at Paychex since March 2016, including Senior National PEO Workers Compensation Underwriter, and previously worked at BBSI as a Risk Manager/Risk Consultant. Prior roles include National Loss Control Consultant at Volt Information Sciences, Officer in the Department of Public Safety for a Tribal Government, and various leadership positions in loss prevention at Advance America, Viacom-Blockbuster Video, AutoZone, and Montgomery Wards. The career began as a Deputy Sheriff for the County of Ventura. Mike Gomez holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Phoenix and has pursued additional education from Rio Hondo College, San Diego State University, and Texas A&M Health Science Center.
