Sonya Kohl

Sonya Kohl, CPC OHCC CCWS, has an extensive background in healthcare and human capital management. Currently serving as a Mid Market HCM Consultant at Paychex since September 2025, Sonya collaborates with businesses in the Rio Grande Valley to implement customized HCM solutions and simplifies processes for enhanced client engagement. Previously, Sonya held the roles of Operations Manager and Practice Administrator at Pulmonary Associates Inc. from April 2011 to October 2025, managing multiple clinics and overseeing various operational aspects, including practice management, human resources, and HIPAA compliance. Prior experience includes serving as the Regional Training Team Lead at e-MD's from January 2008 to April 2011, where Sonya delivered medical software training, as well as working as an IT Implementation Systems Administrator at OFP from June 1996 to December 2007.
