Mark McAvoy

Mark McAvoy is a highly experienced Linux Systems Engineer at Paycom since July 2022, specializing in architecture design and implementation for server requests, as well as managing complex Linux systems across multiple data centers. Notable responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert for Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform, analyzing system performance, and leading capacity planning efforts. Prior to Paycom, McAvoy held positions as a Linux System Administrator II at Ace Info Solutions LLC, overseeing network monitoring and backup systems, and as a Linux System Administrator I at the University of Oklahoma, focusing on system provision and maintenance. McAvoy began a career in information systems security auditing at L-3 Communications. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma.
