Rashid Kamran

Rashid Kamran has over 20 years of work experience. Rashid started their career in 2000 as a Software Engineer at Hudson Valley Webmasters. Rashid then moved to HV Technologies in 2003 as a Senior Software Engineer/Project Manager. In 2004, they joined Synergy Globe (pvt) Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer. The following year, they were a Technical Team Lead at Inbox Business Technologies. In 2006, they worked as a Senior Consultant at IVS Consulting. Rashid then joined DIRECTV in 2009 as a Principal Engineer 3. In 2016, they became a Software Engineering Director at AT&T. In 2020, they were a VP - Application Development at MUFG Union Bank, N.A. Most recently, they were appointed as the CTO of PayEngine in 2022.

Rashid Kamran began their educational journey in 1997 when they earned a BS in Computer Science from Karachi University. In 2017, they obtained a Nano Degree in Machine Learning Engineer from Udacity and a Nano Degree in Deep Learning from the same institution the same year. In 2019, they earned a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera, and in 2021 they obtained a Group 2 Social/Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel certification from the CITI Program. Rashid also holds an edX Honor Code Certificate for Cybersecurity: Technology, Application and Policy.
