Dani Azike

Dani Azike has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Starting in 2009, Dani worked as an Accounts Assistant/Cashier at Rainoil Limited, where they were responsible for accounting tasks and financial analysis.

In 2010, Dani moved to Fidelity Bank PLC, initially serving as a Business Development Team Lead in the Commercial Banking division. They managed client relationships, maintained a portfolio of credit facilities, and led the commercial banking team.

In 2013, Dani joined Home Fundraising Ltd as a Fund Raiser/Team Leader, organizing and coordinating team activities for charity campaigns and ensuring compliance with company policies.

In 2014, Dani worked at BudgiT as the Policy Lead/Program Manager, where they managed projects, formulated organizational culture, and conducted research and data analysis.

Fidelity Bank PLC welcomed Dani back in 2015, and they took on multiple roles. As a Product Manager for Corporate E-Banking Services, Dani improved customer acquisition and retention on digital payment platforms and managed sales engagement with clients and partners. In subsequent roles as a Product Manager for Visa Cards and Senior Product Manager for Cards, Dani implemented initiatives that significantly increased revenue and portfolio growth. They also played a key role in launching the bank's QR-code-based mobile payments solution.

In 2019, Dani joined Shopify as a Product Manager for Balance, where they contributed to the development and management of product offerings related to balance-related services.

At ApplyBoard, Dani held various roles starting in 2021, including Manager of Product Management in the Fintech domain and Product Manager for Financial Management.

Most recently, in 2022, Dani joined Payfare Inc. as a Product Lead for Payments.

Throughout their career, Dani has demonstrated a strong focus on product management, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and strategic initiatives across various industries.

Dani Azike completed a Master's Degree in Enterprise Systems Management from Birmingham City University from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Portharcourt. In terms of additional certifications, Dani Azike achieved the Oracle Database Certified Professional certification from Oracle in June 2007. They also obtained the Integrated Business Processes with SAP ERP (Terp10) certification from the University Duisburg Essen in July 2013 and the SAP Certified: Associate Business Foundation & Integration with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 certification from SAP in November 2013. Most recently, in 2021, Dani Azike obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum.org.
