Sofía Valverde Martín

Sofía Valverde Martín has held a variety of roles in the corporate and finance sectors. In 2017, they were a Summer Internship at Herbert Smith Freehills in Corporate Law, where they were responsible for analyzing, preparing and reviewing legal documents for delivery to clients, as well as participating in legal proceedings. In 2018, they were a Summer Internship at Lazard in M&A, where they performed company, industry and market research, developed proposals for potential clients, and assisted in company’s valuation and restructuring processes. In 2019, they were a Finance Intern at Next Chance Group in their Start-Up Incubator, where they participated in budgeting and billing management of various projects, and assisted in weekly reporting to management. In 2020, they were a Business Consultant at Management Solutions, where they were responsible for developing strategy business proposals for a wide range of industries, from finance to the retail industry. Currently, they are an Operations Manager at Payflow (YC S21).

Sofía Valverde Martín has an extensive educational history. Sofía attended Colegio San Patricio from 1998 to 2014, and then went on to pursue a Double Bachelor in Business and Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2014 to 2020. During their time at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, they also participated in an exchange program at EDHEC Business School from 2017 to 2018, where they studied Master 1 in Business Management. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Business Consulting at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Additionally, they hold certifications in Cambridge Advanced in English (CAE) and Diplôme Elementaire de Langue Française (DELF) B1.
