Jay Kelner

Jay Kelner has over five years of professional experience in software engineering. Jay began their career in 2015 as a Computer Science Research Intern at the University of Missouri, where they researched and developed an Android application used by Computer Science and Psychology faculty. Jay'sresearch was later published in the IEEE International Conference on Smart Computing. In 2016, Jay became a Software Engineer Intern at Cerner Corporation, and in 2017 they were promoted to Software Engineer. During their time at Cerner, they maintained Java Spring microservices for an enterprise web application used by hospitals to manage financial contracts and did some front-end development of customer-facing features. In 2018, Jay joined Cboe Global Markets as a Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they moved to PayIt where they are currently a Senior Software Engineer.

Jay Kelner received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Truman State University in 2017, having studied there from 2012 to 2017. Jay then went on to pursue a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2021.
