Jeff Davey

Jeff Davey has a diverse work experience spanning from 1996 to 2019. In 1996, they worked as a Technical Support Representative at Gigatrend, Inc. In 1997, they worked as a System/Network Administrator at North County Times. In 1998, they worked as a Software Engineer at Controltec, Inc. In 1999, they worked as a Software Engineer at Inetcam, Inc. In 2012, they worked as a Software Developer at Strongheart Enterprises, Inc. In 2015, they worked as an Engineer in Test at ZOLOZ/EyeVerify. Finally, in 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at PayIt. At PayIt, they were a member of the Quality Assurance team, verifying stories and smoke testing web and mobile apps, as well as working with Mongo and/or PostgreSQL databases. At EyeVerify, they assisted with remote SDK implementations and troubleshooting for a number of FinTech businesses across the globe, including various support of Android and iOS app and SDK installations and certifying devices upon manufacturer release. At Strongheart Enterprises, Inc., they expanded their self-taught Objective-C and iOS programming and later also picked up Java and Android development. Jeff also took an existing audio-video equipment setup controlled by a 10-key device and revisioned it and built an iOS application to remotely control media players over WiFi with UDP commands.

Jeff Davey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they attended Palomar Community College from 1986 to 1991 and received transfer credits.
