Deon Verster has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the financial services industry. They began their career as a Credit Manager at Blue Financial Services from 2002 to 2006 and later served as an Assistant Country Manager and then Country Director. After that, Deon took on the role of Senior Operations Manager for Select Africa Limited from 2012 to 2013, followed by a position as Group Operations Executive at GetBucks until 2016. Deon founded Smartpeople in 2016, focusing on delivering financial solutions in Africa through innovative technology before moving on to serve as Director of Finance Business at PayJoy from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Deon holds the position of Country Manager.
