James Dowd

James Dowd has held various roles in the financial technology industry, starting from 2011. James worked as a Fintech consultant from 2011 to 2018 at Alchemy Analytics. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Principal at Alchemy Analytics. In 2019, they joined Branch International as a Manager of Credit and Analytics and later became the Head of Credit in 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the Director and Head of Credit at OPay. In 2022, they joined Mission Lane as the Head of Analytics for New Product Development and later became the Director of Risk Strategy at PayJoy.

James Dowd completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science at the University of Michigan from 2003 to 2007. James then pursued a Master of Science in Data Science at Northwestern University from 2018 to 2020.
