Nicolas Matet has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Nicolas started their career as a Stagiaire at the Institut de physique thermique in Novossibirsk in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Stagiaire ingénieur hydraulicien at Alstom Power. Later that year, they joined GE as an Ingénieur projet, recherche et développement, where they were responsible for improving the bidding process by developing a dedicated tool for predicting the performance of hydraulic turbines and designing automatic sizing of pump-turbines. Nicolas'sresponsibilities included modeling the flow in the turbine, front-end and back-end development, as well as user support and training. The tool they developed was deployed for all GE Hydro offering teams. In 2018, Matet became a Développeur Full Stack at Algonomia, where they were a founding member of a six-person team. Nicolas'srole involved developing financial and tax modeling tools, analyzing client needs, and pitching to clients. The tools they contributed to are currently utilized by four CAC40 groups. Currently, Matet holds the position of Technical Lead at PayLead since 2022.
Nicolas Matet studied at École Polytechnique from 2010 to 2014, but their degree and field of study during this time period are unknown. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master's degree in Génie Mécanique at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).
