Michael Long

Michael Long is the Chairman and Co-founder of Payment Data Systems. Michael has over 25 years of experience in retail operations and has spent the last 19 years with Lowe's Home Improvement in a variety of leadership roles. Michael was most recently the Regional Director of Operations, responsible for field operations support for 10 stores. In this role, they worked with the Market Director, Store Managers, Area Loss Prevention and Human Resource Managers to assist stores in maintaining operational integrity and profitability. Michael oversaw the execution of Policies and Procedures, identified root causes of operational execution failure and facilitated training, rollout of new processes, and system upgrade rollouts to refine operations. Michael also solicited feedback to simplify operations and make recommendations to reduce tasks to improve the customer experience. In addition, they managed hiring, training and operational establishment for new stores and facilitated change management initiatives. Prior to this role, they served as the Area Operations Manager for Lowe's Home Improvement stores in the southeast United States.
