Siyuan Yang, MASc, possesses a strong background in software development, robotics, and machine learning. Experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, where Siyuan designed an attention-based deep CNN for environmental image forecasting, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for control sensors and actuators. Prior work at Vestorch Technology Ltd. involved integrating real-time human and fall detection into a mobile robot, along with developing an image-based navigation system using ROS.
