Aaron H. has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Aaron began their career in 2001 as an Elections Administrator at the Ramsey County PR & R - Elections Division, where they managed the Statewide Voter Registration System and trained staff on its use. Aaron later worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst & Elections Administrator at the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State, where they developed test plans and performed data integrity testing.

In 2011, Aaron joined Thomson Reuters as a Lead Test Engineer, where they designed and developed automated UI tests using Cucumber, Selenium, NodeJs, and Java. Aaron also served as a Quality Strategist, setting test strategies and improving SDLC practices.

At Bloom Health, Aaron worked as a Test Engineer, designing and developing automated UI test frameworks using Geb and implementing data setup using the Ebean ORM framework. Aaron then joined Thomson Reuters Finance and Risk division as an Application Architect - Test Engineering, leading test engineering architecture and standardizing quality standards across multiple projects.

Since 2018, Aaron has been involved with PaymentWorks, initially working as a Senior Software Engineer in Test and establishing quality standards for their Python/Django SaaS application. Aaron then served as a Director of Engineering, building a new Sustaining Engineering team and contributing to engineering scaling efforts. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Engineering and Vice President of Application Engineering, overseeing application engineering and guiding career growth for engineering teams.

Aaron H. attended the University of Minnesota from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. Aaron obtained additional certifications including Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in November 2021. Aaron also obtained certifications from Code School, including CSS Cross-Country, Front-end Foundations, JavaScript Road Trip Part 1, JavaScript Road Trip Part 2, Try Ruby, and shaping-up-with-angular-js, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
