Janet Green has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Janet is currently employed as a Project Manager at PaymentWorks since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Rutgers University for over a decade, starting as an eProcurement Manager in December 2006 and eventually becoming the Information Technology Director in November 2014. In this role, Janet was responsible for managing and optimizing IT systems and processes for the procurement department. Janet also acted as the department's point of contact for implementing a new university-wide procurement system. Before Rutgers University, Janet worked at William Grant & Sons as a Network Support Analyst, where they administered user accounts, supported a virtual environment, and configured a Blackberry Enterprise Server for improved email response time. Additionally, they have prior experience at Immedient (formerly Alpha Technologies Inc) as a Systems Engineer (Consulting), working on various IT projects such as call center design and implementation and office relocations.

Janet Green earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Stockton University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including "Programming Foundations: Databases" from LinkedIn in October 2019, "Scrum: The Basics" from LinkedIn in September 2019, and "API Testing Foundations" from LinkedIn in May 2019.
