Sunday Ezeilo has a diverse background in software engineering and embedded systems. Sunday started their career as an Embedded Systems Intern at ERIT, where they developed various projects including a Fingerprint Biometric Access Control system and a GUI for data logging. After that, they worked as an Embedded System Engineer, building low-level embedded solutions and assisting students with their projects. In 2019, they joined the Nigerian Defence Academy as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they taught and conducted experiments on electronics, led development efforts for biometric attendance systems, and secured an R&D grant. In recent years, they have worked as a Full-stack Code Reviewer at Hatchways and currently as a Mid Senior Software Engineer at Payourse, where they co-built and maintains Ventogram and migrated backend services from JavaScript to TypeScript. Sunday also has experience in writing unit tests for APIs to improve bug fixes.
Sunday Ezeilo received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Modibbo Adama University of Technology, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various fields, including Learning Cloud Computing: Serverless Computing from LinkedIn in March 2023, Node.js: Design Patterns, Node.js: Real-Time Web with Socket.IO, Node.js: Security, and TypeScript for Node.js Developers from LinkedIn in July 2021, Node.js Essential Training from LinkedIn in June 2021, Microverse React & Redux Module from Microverse in April 2021, Microverse JavaScript Module from Microverse in March 2021, Microverse Ruby on Rails Module from Microverse in November 2020, Microverse HTML/CSS module from Microverse in August 2020, and Microverse Ruby/Databases Module from Microverse in August 2020.
