Allan has a diverse background in engineering and project management, with experience spanning multiple companies. They began their career at ECnet as a Sustaining Engineer in 2000, later consulting at Frontline Solutions until 2002. Allan held various leadership positions, including as Engineering Lead at BitTitan from 2014 to 2018, and currently serves as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at PayPal. Their educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore, which they completed in 1999.
