Ariane Cherry is a seasoned mixed-method researcher and strategist currently serving as a UX Research Manager at PayPal. Previously, Ariane held roles such as Senior Researcher at Venmo and Lead Researcher at PayPal, where they focused on optimizing user experiences by integrating ethnography with design principles. With a strong background spanning various sectors, including consulting for Fortune 500 companies and cultural institutions, Ariane has developed a deep expertise in understanding user needs and facilitating innovative design processes. They also contribute to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Segal Design Institute at Northwestern University. Ariane holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Chicago.
