Ashwin Rastogi has extensive experience in analytics, currently serving at PayPal since August 2017 with roles in FX and Pricing Analytics, Partner Marketing and Loyalty Analytics, GTM and Strategic Analytics, and Cross-Border Trade/Marketing Analytics. Prior to PayPal, Ashwin worked as an MBS strategist at Bank of America from June 2015 to June 2017 and as a research analyst at Ellington Management Group from August 2013 to June 2015, focusing on prepayment modeling, interest rate derivatives, and risk analysis. Ashwin earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Harvard University, conducting research in string theory and related fields, and holds a BS in Physics and Mathematics from William & Mary. Ashwin began academic pursuits at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Additionally, a summer internship at NIST involved research in the Electron and Optical Physics Division.
