Cliff Webb

Cliff Webb is a Senior Director and the Head of Intellectual Property at PayPal, where they oversee the company's IP function, including patent programs, IP litigation, trademarks, and brand protection. They have extensive experience in intellectual property law, having previously served as Director of Trademarks and Brand Protection at PayPal and as Senior Legal Counsel for Global Intellectual Property at eBay Inc. Cliff earned a JD, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and holds a BA in Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, as well as a degree in Linguistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to their current role, they practiced as a Litigation Associate in the IP & Tech Group at Fenwick and West.
