Geert B. serves as the Director of Indirect Tax - EMEA at PayPal since December 2021, following over five years as Senior EU VAT Manager at Amazon. Geert's extensive experience in VAT compliance and advisory spans several prominent companies, including Cargill as EMEA VAT Lead, KPMG Belgium as Director, and PwC as Tax Director and Senior VAT Manager, where responsibilities included managing complex international VAT issues and developing tax compliance models for multinational clients. Geert began the career at PwC in 1995 and transitioned to Norske Skog, initially as European VAT Manager and later as Corporate VAT Manager, leading significant VAT initiatives. Geert holds degrees from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce Marseille and EHSAL.
