Joan Sutherland

Joan Sutherland is a high-energy, collaborative Total Rewards leader with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. They have built high-performance teams and led global compensation strategies across various organizations, including PayPal, where they currently hold the position of Senior Director, Global Compensation Strategy and M&A. Previously, Joan served as Head of Global Compensation at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and held multiple roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP, focusing on compensation, job architecture, and rewards programs. Joan earned an MSHRM in Human Resources from Purdue University Daniels School of Business and is currently pursuing further education at Centre College.
