Maureen Hellstrom

Maureen Hellstrom is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) with extensive experience in financial services AML audit. Maureen currently holds the position of Director, Global Head of AML Audit at PayPal, where Maureen is responsible for overseeing fully outsourced AML audits for various financial institutions. Prior to this, Maureen worked as a Financial Services AML Senior Manager at Crowe Horwath LLP, where Maureen was involved in designing BSA/AML audit programs, validating consent order projects, and leading independent AML model validations. Maureen's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
