Ryan Herrmann has extensive experience in cybersecurity and management, currently serving as the Head of M&A Security Diligence and Integration at PayPal since July 2018. In this role, Ryan leads the development of cybersecurity strategic plans and playbooks for mergers and acquisitions, focusing on a comprehensive security control stack. Prior positions at PayPal include Senior Information Security Engineer and Information Security Consultant, where Ryan was responsible for cybersecurity integration planning and consulting on complex technical controls. Prior to PayPal, Ryan was Managing Consultant at Inertia Legal, overseeing software implementation projects, and co-founded Brenn Music, a company providing music for television and advertising. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Lee University.
