Yan Nie

Yan Nie has extensive experience in risk management, beginning as a Senior Analyst at GE Capital from March 2006 to November 2008. Following this role, Yan served as a Senior Manager at Longtop International from January 2009 to August 2011, focusing on credit risk, including origination, account management, risk monitoring, and Basel II/Scorecard Validation. Since April 2012, Yan has been the Head of Risk Management for PayPal in China, tasked with developing strategies, processes, and quantitative policy frameworks for risk mitigation that affect customers. Yan holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Statistics from Universiteit Hasselt, completed between 2003 and 2005.
