Amit Bhasin

Amit Bhasin serves as the Head of Product Division at PayPay Corporation since June 2018, overseeing all aspects of product management, engineering, design, and integrations, contributing to the app's consistent ranking as the #1 finance app in Japan and the acquisition of over 42 million users. Notably, Amit led the initial launch of PayPay's mobile app and associated payment systems, developed online payments, and introduced various innovative features to enhance user experience, such as the KYC product and mini-app integrations. Amit also holds the position of Board Member at PayPay India Private Limited and has extensive experience in product management at Paytm, including a role as DGM Products overseeing India's largest e-wallet. Previous entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Pikup, a smart commuting platform. Amit holds multiple degrees from esteemed institutions, including the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
