Andrew Gaskell

Andrew Gaskell is an experienced database and information management professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Database Reliability Manager and previously as Database Resilience Engineer at PayPoint plc since August 2020, Andrew has held key positions including Head of BI at DW Sports & Fitness Group and Partner at XMo2 Ltd, a consultancy formed by members of the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games technology division. Andrew's expertise includes database administration, performance tuning, and information management, with a notable contract role as Database Consultant at CPP Travel Services focusing on SQL database migration and PCI compliance. Additional experience includes senior database development for NHS Pensions and systems architecture for the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games. Andrew holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Basic Medical Sciences from UCL.
