Mike Ponder

Mike Ponder is currently the Vice Chairman at Payroc. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including stints as the President/CEO of First Savings Bank Merchant Division and as the Vice President of Sales at Universal Savings Bank.

Ponder has always had a passion for helping businesses grow and succeed. Mike founded First Savings Bank Merchant Division in 1995 with the vision of providing an all-in-house solution for both sales representatives and merchants. The company quickly grew to 25,000 merchants before being successfully acquired by a publicly traded company.

In their role as Vice President of Sales at Universal Savings Bank, Ponder was responsible for recruiting sales agents and building the operations that supported the sales efforts and the merchants. Mike was instrumental in helping the bank grow and expand its reach nationwide.
