Ivan Tonev

Ivan Tonev has extensive experience in risk management and fraud prevention in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Issuing Risk Manager at Paysafe since October 2019, Ivan has progressed through various roles, including Senior Issuing Risk Specialist and Issuing Specialist for Digital Wallets. Prior experience at UniCredit Bulbank from August 2011 to October 2019 included positions focused on card fraud prevention and dispute management, where responsibilities encompassed risk mitigation, transaction monitoring, chargeback processing, and customer claims investigations. Ivan holds a Master's degree in Financial Control and a Bachelor's degree in Predicting and Planning from the University of National and World Economy, complemented by foundational education from Foreign Languages High School "Asen Zlatarov."
