Simon Brown is a seasoned privacy professional with extensive experience in data privacy, compliance, and governance across various sectors. Currently serving as VP & Deputy Chief Privacy Officer at Paysafe since September 2017, Simon has previously held multiple leadership roles in privacy, including Senior Director and Head of Privacy Technology. Prior experience includes work at Barclays as Assistant Vice President of Data Privacy, where Simon provided expert privacy advice and implemented compliance controls. At Nymity, Simon contributed to global privacy compliance solutions, and at BlackBerry, developed risk-based approaches for privacy governance and managed enterprise-wide privacy initiatives. Simon began a career in data protection at Hampshire Constabulary, where Simon won an award for innovative contributions to policy and procedural compliance. Simon holds advanced degrees in law and numerous certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), underscoring a strong commitment to privacy law and practice.
