Vic O. is a Java Chapter Lead at Paysend since October 2021, focusing on enhancing best practices for instant money transfer solutions. Previously, Vic O. served as a Software Development Expert and Scala Community Lead at Raiffeisen Bank Russia from December 2018 to October 2021, contributing to the development of an internal banking platform. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Software Engineer and AVP at Deutsche Bank, where Vic O. worked on a monolithic trading platform; and as a Software Development Expert at CUSTIS, involved in projects for banks and retail chains. Earlier, Vic O. held positions at RDTEX and ERMASOFT Management, participating in the design and implementation of systems for major banks in Russia. Vic O. holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, earned between 2003 and 2009.
