Until now, people in Africa (especially in French-speaking countries) have always been confronted with a poor banking experience, with high transaction fees and customer service that hardly meets their expectations. With less than 20% of the population having a bank account, French-speaking African countries rely on mobile money for money transfers between individuals within the same country. PaySika uses this infrastructure to create new affordable, smooth and transparent banking experiences mainly to simplify and facilitate online payments.
