Joost Scholtus

Joost Scholtus has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Joost started their career as a Consultant at Raet and then worked as a Consultant at VEA. Joost then joined DBS Business Solutions as an HRM consultant and later became a Senior HRM consultant and Product Manager. In 2008, they joined Visma as a Product Manager and Chairman of the Change Advisory Board, and later became the International Product Manager for HCM & Payroll.

In 2014, Joost joined ADP as a Senior Director of Product Strategy and remained in that role for four years. In 2018, they took a sabbatical to co-found the Scholtus - de Boer & Co. family venture and prepare for a new business.

In 2019, Joost became the Chief Product Officer and Co-founder at Cloudator, where they built a real-time calculating, cloud-based, and multi-country payroll platform. Joost stayed in this role until 2022.

In 2021, Joost served as a Project Manager and Head of Sales, Customer Success & Business Development at heycar. Joost also started their own consultancy firm, JMS Consultancy BV, where they helped businesses start, scale, and grow.

Currently, Joost is the Head of European expansion at PaySpace, a position they started in 2023.

Joost Scholtus completed their Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology at NCOI Business School from 2007 to 2011. Joost also pursued a study in Psychology and Coaching at NCOI Business School from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) between 1999 and 2001.
