David Herbert

David Herbert has over 15 years of experience in the finance industry. David began their career in 2005 as a Management Team Specialist at BankAtlantic, where they supervised multiple branch locations in the absence of Branch Management, opened and closed Branch, and coached, trained and developed new hires. In 2010, they moved to Clearent as a Senior Underwriter, where they developed underwriting strategies and supervised the credit department. In 2019, they joined Merchant Lynx Services as a Credit Manager, where they managed the credit department and provided leadership and direction to members of the department. In 2020, they became an Underwriting Manager at PayCertify, where they managed and led the Underwriting department and acted as a liaison with Sponsor Banks International and Domestic, Bank partners, ISO's partners, High value customers, and Inside and Outside Sales team. In 2021, they joined Payspan, Inc. as a Senior Underwriting & Risk Manager / AML Officer, where they manage, maintains, and helps implement underwriting tools and processes for ACH and credit card transactions to support internal business applications, monitors transactional, batch and authorization volume for merchant portfolio(s), and identifies, detects, and prevents threats through threat pattern monitoring, behavior anomalies and events to prevent fraud and abuse of Payspan's business applications.
