Carol Muema is an experienced professional in business operations and product management, currently serving as the East Africa Business Operations & Expansion Lead at Paystack since April 2022. In this role, Carol leads business expansion efforts across East Africa for a company that facilitates payments for businesses across the continent. Prior to Paystack, Carol worked at Africa's Talking from June 2013 to May 2022, initially as a Payments Product Manager, driving product delivery for payment APIs, and later as the Product Manager - VP Telco Relations Coordinator, where strong partnerships with mobile operators were established to enhance connectivity services. Earlier experience includes a position as Creative Lead UX Designer and Frontend Developer at Onpoint-It International from March 2012 to June 2013. Carol holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology from Kampala International University and additional education from Shang Tao Media Art College.
