Sharon Wangari

Sharon Wangari is a team member at Paystack, where they work in the engineering department. Prior to joining Paystack, Sharon worked as a senior UX designer and UX chapter lead at Sendy Ltd from May 2019 to April 2022. Sharon has also worked as a design fellow at Dalberg from September 2017 to July 2018, where they were responsible for designing financial services and go to market strategies for farmer communities in Eastern Africa. In September 2018, Sharon joined Nairobi Design Institute as a senior designer and design manager. In this role, Sharon addresses design challenges using a human centered approach, applying various design principles and community engagement techniques to produce meaningful solutions. As the design manager at NDI, Sharon works closely with NDI fellows to ensure they are producing high quality work and achieving their maximum potential.

Sharon Wangari has a background in Fullstack Design and Creative Leadership from the Nairobi Design Institute. Sharon also has certification from IDEO U in Leading Complex Projects.

Sharon Wangari reports to Shola Akinlade, Co founder & CEO. They are on a team with Kharis Izevbizua - Growth, Aliu Ifedayo - Growth, and Wale Santos - Growth.
